Getting Started
To power the AI insights for your appliances, follow these quick steps:
- Visit Google AI Studio and sign in.
- Click "Get API key" in the sidebar.
- Select "Create API key in new project" and copy the generated code.
- Paste this key into your Settings page here in VitalHome IQ.
Pro Tip: Google's free tier is usually more than enough for personal home maintenance tracking!
Go to the Appliances page and fill in your information in the Add Appliance section. It's as simple as that. If you have the manual, you can upload the PDF for even better AI insights.
Your Health Score is a weighted percentage based on your maintenance tasks. Urgent tasks have a higher impact on your score than low-priority items.
AI & Maintenance Logic
No manual? No problem. Our AI can identify most major brands and models using only the model number to pull standard manufacturer maintenance intervals from our global database.
Yes. If you've checked the appliance and determined it's in good shape, you can "Verify & Snooze." This will adjust your Home Health Score to reflect that you've actively monitored the unit.
We use a combination of manufacturer defaults and AI analysis of your appliance manuals to predict exactly when filters, coils, and sensors need attention.

The Plus Plan upgrades your experience with:
- Unlimited appliance tracking (Free tier is limited to 3).
- Advanced PDF Manual Analysis (Deep-scan for parts and sensors).

Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time through the Batch & Byte Registry. Your Plus features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

Batch & Byte Studio is our core technology hub where account verification and billing are managed. VitalHome IQ is the platform where you manage your home appliances. Your single "Identity Access Key" works seamlessly across both.
No. Your data is your own. We only use the information provided to generate maintenance logic via AI. We do not sell your appliance inventory or home habits to marketers.
